Itouch MAC address

To access the Registered network, the MAC address of itouch must be registered with the network as a form of authentication.

An itouch MAC address contains 12 characters, with digits from 0 to 9, and letters from A to F. The letters may be either upper or lower case. Sometimes each pair of characters is separated by a colon, dash or a space. Sometimes there is no spacer at all.

When you locate your MAC address, copy and paste if you can, otherwise carefully write it down. Depending on the font used, certain characters can look very similar. For instance, B, 3, 8, 6 might be easily confused. The network will check the registered address against the address your computer sends on the network so it has to be exactly the same.

• On the iPad home screen, tap the Settings icon.
• Settings window will open. Then select ‘General’ option from left side.
• Now select the ‘About’ option on the right side. It will show lot of details including Wifi address and bluetooth (see highlighed in above screenshot).
