Find MAC Address and Lookup MAC Address Software Tool

CCGetMAC is a handy tool for finding MAC address and computer name from IP address. You can use it to lookup MAC address of a computer on LAN even out of your LAN range. It's based on Microsoft Netbios technology. CCGetMAC also can be used to Wake On LAN. You can use it wake up any computer on your LAN remotely.

Why I cannot get MAC addresses of clients when I click 'Retr All'?
CCGetMAC need to send UDP data to the port 137 of clients' machine. If the firewall software on the server or client block this port, CCGetMAC cannot get mac address.

What's meaning of '+' and '-' on the head of each line?
First, you scan whole lan and get all mac addresses of clients. If you use auto scan function, '+' means the client is power on and '-' means the client is power off.

How to enter the registration code?
Please right click your mouse on the caption of the software interface, and select 'About CCGetMAC ...' item from the popup menu.

Does CCGetMAC support command line?
Yes. "cc-get-mac-address.exe -w 0858c2c43285" will wake on lan the PC with mac address 0858c2c43285.

Why do not some machines have the Computer Name resolved?
The client has not installed NetBIOS protocol in the network property.

Why are some items marked as blue color when 'autoscan'?
If the same IP address has dynamic mac address, it will be marked as blue color.

How to get IP from MAC Address?
If you want to get ip from mac, you need to know the approximate ip range of this PC. And cc get mac will scan this ip range and find out which ip's mac address is identical to the provided mac address. So you have to input IP range in "MAC=>IP".

Why cannot I get MAC address of remote computer?
If the computer is out of LAN and the computer is not windows platform and without install NetBIOS protocol in network property, you cannot get mac address of this computer remotely.
