A MAC address contains 12 characters, with digits from 0 to 9, and letters from A to F. The letters may be either upper or lower case. Sometimes each pair of characters is separated by a colon, dash or a space. Sometimes there is no spacer at all.

When you locate your MAC address, copy and paste if you can, otherwise carefully write it down. Depending on the font used, certain characters can look very similar. For instance, B, 3, 8, 6 might be easily confused. The network will check the registered address against the address your computer sends on the network so it has to be exactly the same.

• Click Menu.
• Click Settings.
• Click About Phone.
• Click Status.
• Scroll down to see your "Wi-Fi MAC address".
